The organization has immensely contributed to the plight of orphans and vulnerable children by offering them with life skills and scholastic materials. We envision a community where the girl-child and women live up to their full potential as equal and empowered members of society. We train women in saving and investment skills, support girl-child with sanitary pads.
Mercy Hearts Community Development Foundation (MHCDF) is fully registered with the National Bureau for NGOs, Ministry of Internal Affairs, registration number INDR157224906NB. MHCDF is governed by a five-member board of directors (2 women and three men) while the technical team comprises of 6 full- time staff and 8 volunteers at community level.
MHCDF's mission: Realization of children, young girls and women's full potential through holistic development as they live a healthy, friendly environment with good sanitation and have access to quality education, better housing, nutrition and fully aware of HIV/AIDS.
